This course outlines 5-Dimensional (5D - Cost) process. It also addresses some of the issues that the QS may come up against when generating and using BIM quantities and some difficulties when transitioning from a traditional project environment to a BIM environment. f you are becoming more proficient with BIM and BIM measurement, start using a Hybrid approach (both 2D and 3D). This course helps you look at BIM with a different prospective.
BIM for the quantity surveyor does not simply involve 2D/3D software take-off but rather a different way of thinking, a cultural change and a new approach to project delivery.
